Day 1 Depart Melbourne  Tuesday 24thSeptember  

Depart on our adventure to the Holy Land

Day 2 – Wednesday 25thSeptember

Early morning arrival into Tel Aviv. We will be met by our Inner Faith Travel representative who will take us to visit Rothschild Avenue and drive along the scenic Mediterranean Sea and visit Independence Hall to hear about the formation of Jewish State of Israel. We visit the old city of Joppa for a walk through and an overview and have lunch, and then check into our hotel to rest, swim in the Mediterranean Sea, or just take a walk along the Board Walk to the old port.   Overnight Grand Beach Tel Aviv.(D)



Day 3 – Thursday 26th

In the morning we visit Carmel Market (Shuk HaCarmel), the biggest marketplace in Tel Aviv. You can find just about anything for the lowest prices in town, including different kinds of bread, olives, dried fruits, spices, souvenirs and clothing.  After we travel north and visit the ancient sea-port of Caesarea, the site of Herod’s Palace, home of Cornelius and where Paul was brought to trial. Day 4 – Friday 27th

We travel to Mount Carmel and Muchraka, where Elijah called down fire from heaven to defeat the prophets of Baal. Passing through the Megiddo Valley, we see the large plain where the final battle of Armageddon is prophesied to take place and visit Tel Megiddo a city of Solomon. Our journey then takes us to Nazareth where Jesus grew to manhood. We visit Nazareth Village – a recreation of a village in the time of Jesus. From there we will visit the Mount of the Precipice where Jesus was driven by the crowd. Continuing as we round the crest of a hill the Sea of Galilee unfolds in a breathtaking panoramic scene before our eyes. Overnight Sea of Galilee Hotel  Tiberius. (B-D)



Day 5 – Saturday 28th

This morning we head to the source of the Jordan River on the slopes of Mt Hermon where Peter made his confession at Caesarea Philippi. After lunch we ascend the Golan Heights where miracles took place in the Six Day War of 1967.  We then visit Nimrod’s castle. Overnight Sea of Galilee Hotel Tiberius. (B-D)


Day 6 – Sunday 29th

Today, we explore this historical area of Galilee. Our special traditional sailing vessel will take us across the Sea of Galilee, stopping in the middle for a time of reflection and worship. We will go to Nof Ginnosar a kibbutz located on the shores of the Galilee where we will see the remains of a boat from the time of Jesus. Arriving to Capernaum, the city of Jesus, we visit the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus performed many miracles. We will visit St Peter’s primacy church. You will see the new excavations of St. Peter’s house and visit Tabgha where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes. Later we ascend to the top of the Mount of Beatitudes, where we will read the Sermon on the Mount. Enjoy a St Peter’s Fish lunch in a restaurant by the Sea of Galilee. Lastly, we go to Yardenit the Baptismal site on the Jordan River for those who would like to be baptised or rededicated.  Overnight Sea of Galilee Hotel Tiberius. (B-D)



Day 7 – Monday 30th Erev Rosh Hashanah

Leaving Galilee, we travel the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean, where King Saul’s body was hung on the city walls. Then on to overview the oldest city in the world, where we drive by Jericho where the ‘walls came tumbling down’ & site of Elisha’s spring. We then travel to En Gedi where David hid from King Saul. Then we go to the Dead Sea for a swim and spa treatments which need to be booked. Overnight David Resort and Spa Hotel on the Dead Sea. (B-D)



Day 8 – Tuesday 1stOctober Rosh Hashanah


Free day to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and enjoy the Dead Sea, pool and spa treatments. Overnight David Resort and Spa Hotel on the Dead Sea   (B-D)


Day 9 Wednesday 2ndOctober

We begin our day with a visit to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then we continue south along the Dead Sea and arrive at Masada where we will ascend by cable car to the magnificent ruins of the fortress where, from 70 to 73 AD, the Jewish defenders made their last stand in the Judean revolt against Rome. We then begin our ascent to Jerusalem. We go to the Mt. of Olives for an overview explanation of the Old City of Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court Hotel (B-D)


Day 10 – Thursday 3rd October

We start with afull day of touring Old Jerusalem including walking the Palm Sunday Road from the Mt. of Olives, Dominus Flevitt, Church of the Ascension, and the Garden of Gethsemane and go to a private garden for a time of prayer and reflection. We enter into the Old City through Lion’s Gate; visit the Pools of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church and the Antonia Fortress. Walk part of the Way of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)

Day 11 – Friday 4th October

We tour the new city of Jerusalem including the Menorah and a visit to the Knesset, Israel’s parliament building. See the Model City of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus and the Shrine of the Book, (housing fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls) at the Israel Museum.Then visit Yad Vashem and spend time at this very moving Memorial to the lives taken during the Holocaust. We drive back via the German Colony for some shopping before Shabbat commences. Free afternoon. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)


Day 12 – Saturday 5th October 

This morning we go to the Jewish Quarter, Cardo and Burnt House and then we visit the Garden Tomb where we will have communion. The we drive to the Bethlehem outlook for a photo opportunity and then travel to the Old Railway Station in the German Colony. Overnightt Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)


Day 13Sunday 6thOctober

A later start to the day giving us time to do some last minute shopping and then commencing the touring with a visit to the southern steps, the  Western Wall for a time of prayer and western wall tunnels, city of David, Hezekiah’s tunnel. After this we head to Mt. Zion to visit the upper room and St. Peter in Gallicantu.   Farewell Dinner and leave to the airport for our flight home and for extensions.






Upon early morning arrival in Athens International Airport we meet the local representative for our private bus transfer to the port of Athens for embarkation on the 4-day cruise.  Embarkation should not be later than 10a.m.   Sail for Mykonosat 11:30 a.m. Lunch on board.

In the afternoon (18:00), call at Mykonos. (Disembarkation either by tender-boats or the ship will dock at the port of Tourlos). Free shuttle bus service will be provided to all passengers. Mykonos, the “Pearl of the Aegean Sea” combines international jet-set atmosphere and a very active nightlife. You can stroll at leisure through the whitewashed, flower-decked alleyways, climbing to the sculpture church of Paraportiani and then along the waterfront of «Little Venice» to the well-known windmills. Sail for Kusadasi, Turkey at 23:00. Dinner & overnight on board ship. (B-L-D)


Breakfast on board. At 7:30 a.m. our cruise-ship will at the port of Kusadasi in Turkey. It is our starting point for our included guided shore-excursionto THE HIGHLIGHT of the whole cruise: the ancient city of Ephesus. The Apostle Paul preached to the Ephesians and lived here for three years (Acts 19:24-41). This church also received an epistle from him. Out tour takes us through the spectacular ruins where excavations still continue in this once great and important city, which was founded in the 10th century BC. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Temple of Hadrian, the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, and the grand Theater. The Temple of Diana (or Artemis) of the Ephesians, another of the seven wonders of the ancient world, was built in this city.

We return to Kusadasi for some free time for souvenirs before sailing for Patmos, Greece at 13:00.

At 16:30 we arrive at Patmos. (Disembarkation by tender boats, sea & weather permitting). This is a beautiful, peaceful and almost mysterious rocky island of the Dodecanese where the Apostle John was exiled and wrote the Book of Revelation (Rev. 1:9). We enjoy the INCLUDED shore excursionto the Monastery of John the Evangelist. From there, there is a wonderful view of the island. We also visit the Grotto of the Revelation before some free time for walking around. Return to the cruise-ship and sail for Rhodes at 21:30. Dinner & overnight on board. (B-L-D)



Breakfast on board. At 7:00 a.m. we call at the port ofRhodes. This stronghold was built by a Crusading Order which originated from Palestine and boasts one of the Ancient wonders of the world – The Colossus of Rhodes! Our INCLUDEDshore excursiontakes us to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic rocky Acropolisof Lindos, with the blue Aegean Sea beneath it and the sophisticated, whitewashed artists’ colony at its foot. Local tradition has it that on his way to Rome; Paul’s vessels spent some time here in the small harbor (Acts 21:1). Lunch on board. Free afternoon for a stroll around the medieval walled city or enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere from one of the elegant cafes in the marina.  Sail for Heraklion, Crete at 18:00. Breakfast on board. At 7:00 a.m. we dock at the port of HeraklionCrete, (Acts 27:7-13) where our optional guided shore-excursion takes us from the lively bustling city to visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos, first European civilization and legendary home of the Minotaur (half bull and half man). Sail for Santoriniat 12:00 noon. Lunch on board.

At 16:30 our cruise-ship drops anchor in Santorini. (Disembarkation by tender-boats, sea & weather permitting). There are three options to reach the white-washed town of Fira: a) take a donkey or mule (at 6 Euros per person), b) the cable-car (at 6 Euros per person one-way), c) by walking a very strenuous 45 minute’s walk (589 steps) uphill, on a path you will share with the mules. The town of Firais perched high on the rim of the ancient volcano. In the town of Fira white-washed houses, narrow streets, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to steep cliffs. The eruption of the volcano in 1,613 BC literally buried a flourishing Bronze Age town which has now been excavated at Akrotiri. Free time for taking photos, browsing, shopping and enjoying the unique view. Sail for Piraeus at 21:30. Dinner & overnight on board. (B-L-D)


At 6:00 a.m. arrive at the port of Piraeus and disembark after breakfast (at 07.45a.m.).

We meet the local guide for our tour in Athens.  We will climb up to the marble-capped Acropolisand visit the famous Parthenonand Erechtheion.  Then, we go to nearby Mars’ Hill(orAreopagus) to take a moment to read Acts 17:22, where Paul delivered his well-known sermon and spoke about the inscription: “to an unknown god”.  We will see the ancient Agoraof Athens from the Acropolis before we board the bus for our panoramic tour to the highlights of the city: we pass by the Tomb of theUnknown Soldier, the Parliament House, the Academy, the University of Athens, the National Library, we view the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Hadrian’s Arch.

After the tour we check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
