Day 1 – Wednesday 12th September
Early morning arrival into Tel Aviv. Met by Inner Faith Travel representative who will take us to visit Independence Hall and lunch at Max Brenner (At own expense). Visit the old city of Joppa, and then check into our hotel to rest, swim in the Mediterranean Sea, or just take a walk along the Board Walk to the old port. Overnight Grand Beach Tel Aviv. (D)
Day 2 – Thursday 13th September
In the morning we visit the Carmel Market (Shuk HaCarmel), the biggest marketplace in Tel Aviv. You can find just about anything for the lowest prices in town, including different kinds of bread, olives, dried fruits, spices, souvenirs and clothing. After we travel north and visit the ancient sea-port of Caesarea, the site of Herod’s Palace, home of Cornelius and where Paul was brought to trial. Overnight Seasons Netanya. (B-D)
Day 3 – Friday 14th September
This morning we travel to the Crusader Capital Ancient Acco or Acre as it is known today, stopping off at Haifa and also viewing the Bahai Gardens along the way. Acco, is a UNESCO world heritage site because of the amazing Crusader underground city that is slowly being revealed. There is a very colourful and authentic market and fishing port with lots of character. A visit to the Turkish Bath House with sight and sound show and then we journey a little further north to take the cable car down the cliff face to the picturesque grottos at Rosh Hanikra. Day 4 – Saturday 15th September
We travel to Mount Carmel and Muhraqa, where Elijah called down fire from heaven to defeat the prophets of Baal. Passing through the Megiddo Valley, we see the large plain where the final battle of Armageddon is prophesied to take place and visit Tel Megiddo a city of Solomon. Our journey then takes us to Nazareth where Jesus grew to manhood. We visit the church of the Anunciation and we visit Nazareth Village – a recreation of a village in the time of Jesus. From there we will visit the Mount of the Precipice where Jesus was driven by the crowd. (Luke 4:16-30). Continuing on as we round the crest of a hill the Sea of Galilee unfolds in a breathtaking panoramic scene before our eyes. Overnight Maagan Tiberius. (B-D)
Day 5 – Sunday 16th September
This morning we head to the source of the Jordan River on the slopes of Mt Hermon where St Peter made his confession at Caesarea Philippi. After lunch we ascend the Golan Heights where miracles took place in the Six Day War of 1967. We then visit Nimrod’s castle. Overnight Maagan Tiberius. (B-D)
Day 6 – Monday 17th September
Today, we explore this historical area of Galilee. Our special traditional sailing vessel will take us across the Sea of Galilee, stopping in the middle for a time of reflection and worship and communion. We disembark at Nof Ginnosar a kibbutz located on the shores of the Galilee where we will see the remains of a boat from the time of Jesus. Arriving later to Capernaum, the city of Jesus, we visit the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus performed many miracles. We will visit St Peter’s primacy church. You will see the new excavations of St. Peter’s house and visit Tabgha where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes. Later we ascend to the top of the Mount of Beatitudes, where we will read the Sermon on the Mount. Enjoy a St Peter’s Fish lunch in a restaurant by the Sea of Galilee. Lastly, we go to Yardenit the Baptismal site on the Jordan River for those who would like to be baptised or rededicated. Overnight Maagan Tiberius. (B-D)
Day 7 – Tuesday 18th September – Erev Yom Kippur
Leaving Galilee we travel the Jordan Valley to Ein Hared, Gideon’s Spring & Beit Shean, where King Saul’s body was hung on the city walls. Then onto the oldest city in the world, where we drive by Jericho where the ‘walls came tumbling down’ & site of Elisha’s spring and also St. George’s Monastery. We then begin our ascent to Jerusalem to arrive by 12 noon. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)
Day 8 – Wednesday 19th September – Yom Kippur
Free Day – the day is yours to enjoy. Visit the ancient markets, go shopping in modern Jerusalem. Sit at a cafe in the Old City and just soak up the atmosphere that sets Jerusalem apart from any other City in the world.
Day 9 – Thursday 20th September
We start of with a full day of touring Old Jerusalem including the Church of the Ascension, Mount of Olives, Palm Sunday Road, and the Garden of Gethsemane. Enter into the Old City through Lion’s Gate visit the Pools of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church and the Antonia Fortress. Walk part of the Way of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Mt. Zion Upper Room. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)
Day 10 – Friday 21st September
We tour the new city of Jerusalem including the Menorah and a visit to the Knesset, Israel’s parliament building. See the Model City of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus and the Shrine of the Book, (housing fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls) at the Israel Museum. Then visit Yad Vashem and spend time at this very moving Memorial to the lives taken during the Holocaust. Free afternoon. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)
Day 11 – Saturday 22nd September
Today we visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We travel to Ein Gedi where David hid from King Saul. Then we continue south along the Dead Sea and arrive at Masada where we will ascend by cable car to the magnificent ruins of the fortress where, from 70 to 73 AD, the Jewish defenders made their last stand in the Judean revolt against Rome. We then travel to the Dead Sea to have a 3 hour swim and enjoy the mud and a float in the waters before returning to Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court (B-D)
Day 12 – Sunday 23rd September
Today we visit the City of David, Hezekiah’s tunnel, Western Wall Tunnels and the Western Wall for a time of prayer and then the Jewish Quarter, Cardo, The Hurva Synagogue and the Burnt House. Overnight Jerusalem Grand Court. (B-D)
Day 13 – Monday 24th September
A late departure from the hotel before visiting the Garden Tomb where we will have communion. The serenity of this place makes it a spiritual oasis within this bustling city. Farewell dinner at Yad Hashmona before we transfer to the airport for our flight home. (B-D)

Arrival into Asia with onward connections
Day 15 – Wednesday 26th September
Arrive home inspired by our experience in the Holy Land and ready to share our memories with family and friends.
