We got home yesterday after our extension to the Israel trip. I'm sick and lost my voice but I did want to tell you we had a PERFECT time in Israel and many of the group used the phrase "far surpassed my expectations" to describe what it meant to them. It was indeed very wonderful.

Dear Inner Faith Travel,

I'm writing to thank you for organising such an interesting and stimulating tour. We got back on Sunday 31st October feeling very satisfied and blessed with our three weeks in Israel and Turkey. There were many highlights, but we enjoyed meeting local believers who have committed their lives to serve the Lord in Israel and got a first-hand insight into living in that nation in the 21st century. Our drivers in both regions were excellent and we felt very safe with them, and our local guides were outstanding. Glenn Haines contributed a great deal to our understanding of Israel and its problems and triumphs, and Net, our Turkish guide was such a kind and cheery character it was easy to overlook he was not a believer in Jesus. He knew the bible stories very well and looked after our every need. He put in an outstanding effort in arranging our flight back from Ismir to Istanbul when we were in danger of missing our connection. Because of a severe storm all the flights were disrupted from Istanbul and we had to run from the domestic to international terminals, get through security and immigration in a great hurry and tumble on to our plane hours late as they waited to take off. None of this could have been foreseen of course, but all part of the great travel adventure. Amazingly after all that, our baggage followed us and we picked it up from the terminal at Singapore without a problem.

I must also thank you for the hotel bookings in Singapore. The first one en route to Israel was quite pleasant and convenient, but the second one on the way home was outstanding. The Ibis Hotel is apparently quite new and beautifully appointed and conveniently located in the heart of the shopping precinct. We loved it and wished we were staying longer.

We'll have no hesitation in recommending your tours to our friends, and we thank you again for helping to make our trip to Israel such a memorable one.

I thought I would drop you a note to say thank you and your team for all the hard work you put into making the tour a success.

We all enjoyed ourselves. It was just lovely; very spiritual. I fell in love with Israel! What a magnificant place!! Standing on top of Mt Nebo and visualising what our God had planned for the Hebrews, what an overwhelming feeling. Then to "WOW" eventually get over the border and into Jerusalem; I felt very humbled! I kept saying, "Can I stay?" Mark asked me how long for, I said, "forever!" I didn't want to leave!.

I just wanted to share my thoughts with you. Thanks for everything!!

I just want to let you know what a God-ordained, incredible trip this is for me! It was right that I came. Our Guide was amazing, he is a walking encyclopaedia, with a great sense of humour, and I really appreciated the homework and effort he put in, to answer questions and make allowances for us, when necessary.

Heartfelt thanks to Inner Faith Travel for such an amazing tour, that I want to come back again, and hopefully encourage others as well.

Thank you. I had a wonderful, informative, uplifting time on the tour. I am now sorting through and naming about 1000 photos. Hopefully, I will keep in touch with some of the wonderful people I made friends with on the tour. I certainly hope to travel with you again in the future.

Hi everyone who feasted on cucumbers and hummus! I value and appreciate each one of you, and even thought I did not get a chance to hold on to what was precious for too long. I am looking forward to what God will do - I know I have been there but is that enough? The people love and protect their land as God loves Israel. It is a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates, a land of oil olive and honey (Deut. 8:8). To know it as real as this must change me! I went to church the next day as I knew I wouldn't be there for a few weeks. I spoke about the wonderment of the promised land and about the garden and the tomb. May God's peace cleave to you all as you go about your daily lives, and may the Word be your companion as you ponder the richness of what we all experienced.

Our Inner Faith trip "In the Steps of Jesus and Paul" was a spiritually encouraging and uplifting experience. The Bible has come alive as we visited sites that mean so much in the Christian story.
