Saturday 23rd October 2010

Evening departure to Bangkok where you will have a dayroom within the airport. Afternoon departure to TEL AVIV, ISRAEL. (Meals in Flight)

Tel Aviv, Israel

Sunday 24th October

Late evening arrival to Tel Aviv. Transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem for overnight (Meals in Flight)

Jerusalem

Monday 25th October

Awake in the Holy City. Today we visit the Armenian and Jewish quarters, the Western Wall, Mt Moriah, Temple Mount (security permitting), Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Upper Room, Temple Institute where the third temple furnishings are being made, Christchurch and the Heritage Museum, Church of the Pater Noster and the Golden Gate. Overnight Jerusalem. (B-D)

Garden Tomb

Tuesday 26th October

Jerusalem tour – Visit Jerusalem House of Prayer for all Nations (JHOPFAN) on Mt of Olives, Mt Scopus cemetery where ANZACS are buried, Garden of Gethsemane, Garden Tomb, Bethany, maybe Rachel’s tomb. Visit to Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity & and meet with local Christian Arab congregation. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Wednesday 27th October

This morning we spend time at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. After lunch we visit Hebron & Bethel. Return to Jerusalem for Overnight.

Dead Sea

Thursday 28th October

Early departure from Jerusalem via the Jericho Road and the proposed location of the Good Samaritan Inn and on to the ancient city of Jericho, Allenby Bridge border crossing location for prayer. Visit places en route from Jerusalem where the ANZACS fought such as Al-Jammama, El Maghar. Brief stop at Ein Gedi and continue to Masada. Arrive to our hotel on the Dead Sea. Enjoy a ‘float’ in the medicinal waters. Overnight Dead Sea. (B-D)

Friday 29th October

Be’er-Sheva – meet with Municipality of Be’er-Sheva representatives (to be confirmed), visit school hit by missile, Abraham’s well, extensive prayer Tel Be’er-Sheva (Tel es Saba), the place of God’s covenant with Abraham in Gen 15, the place where God changed Abram and Sarai’s names, Gerar and maybe Be’er LaHair Roi. If time permits, visit Yad La Banim, the municipal hall of commemoration of war victims Overnight Be’er-Sheva. (B-D)

Saturday 30th October (Jewish Sabbath)

Free day. Overnight Be’er-Sheva. (B-D). Meeting with local Messianic congregation tbc. Overnight Be’er-Sheva. (B-D)

Light Horse Soldiers

Sunday 31st October

Be’er-Sheva – 9am Anzac service at Park of the Australian Soldier, 11am service at ANZAC cemetery, Allenby’s statue, Turkish railway station and bridge, Memorial to Allies, ANZAC museum and Turkish trenches in Be’er-Sheva. Visit memorabillia of the World War 1 Heritage Society at Midreshet Ben Gurion. Tour guide for the day is the Vice Chairman, The Society for the Heritage of WW1 in Israel. Overnight Be’er-Sheva. Monday 1st November

Gaza-Be’er-Sheva line. Visit Ness Ziona where there is a stature to NZ horsemen. Visit El Buggar Ridge and maybe Shellal where Allies fought. Visit Sjeridot where missiles come in daily from Gaza, Ashkelon and Ashdod. Meeting with local congregation. Overnight at Ashdod. (B-D).

Megiddo Valley

Tuesday 2nd November

Caesarea, Tel Megiddo, extended prayer at Valley of Armageddon, Haifa, extended prayer at Mt Carmel. Meet local congregation. Overnight Haifa. (B-D)

Sea of Galilee, Israel

Wednesday 3rd November

Boat ride on Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Tabga, Mt of Beatitudes. Visit Nazareth Village, view Mt Tabor and pass through Cana. Galilee Experience. Overnight at Tiberias. (B-D)

Jordan River

Thursday 4th November

Depart from Tiberias to the Golan Heights. Pray on border with Lebanon and at the borders with Syria and Jordan. Baptisms in the River Jordan. If time permits visit Semakh (800 lighthorse) and locations in Jordan valley where ANZACS fought such as Ghoraniye, Jisr ed Damieh and site of the Battle of Abu Tellul. Overnight at Tiberius. B-D)

Jaffa

Friday 5th November

Tel Aviv/Yafo or Jaffa see sites eg Bat Yam. Go to Rishon Lezion and apologize for ANZAC attack on Bedouins if it can be arranged. Otherwise pray on site. If time permits, visit Tel Dan and/or Nimrod Castle. Meeting with local Messianic congregation. Overnight Tel Aviv. (B-D)

Saturday 6th November (Shabbat)

Tel Aviv - free day to spend how you wish - to rest, pray, review the trip, shop for presents, enjoy the beach, coffee and restaurants. The shuk market behind the Dan Panorama is recommended. After a farewell dinner transfer to the airport for our flight homeward bound. Overnight Tel Aviv. (B-D)

Sunday 7th November

Arrival to Bangkok where you will be provided with a dayroom within the airport to rest and refresh. Evening departure flight. (Meals in Flight)

Monday 8th November

Noon arrival to Australia. (Meals in Flight)
