Departure from Australia to Bangkok where we connect with our flight to AMMAN, JORDAN. (meals in flight)

Early morning arrival to Amman, Jordan where we travel the ancient desert highway to Rose-Red PETRA. We will spend the morning at our hotel to rest. After lunch Pastor Tony will lead us through the spectacular chasm. Our Nabatean guides will lead us into Petra by horseback, or you may choose to walk, or ride in your own carriage. (additional cost) We will visit the treasury, monastery, Roman Theatre, Royal tombs and the high place of sacrifice. Petra is MAGNIFICENT. The ancient capital of the Edomites. Enjoy the soft colours of the setting sun as we overnight in Petra (Meals in flight -D)

Sleep in! Late morning departure after breakfast as we travel the Desert Highway north to MT NEBO to gaze into the PROMISED LAND as Moses did. Continuing to Madaba and its intricate Byzantine mosaics. We visit Bethany on the Jordan, Baptismal site completing our day at the Ream Al Bawdy where we enjoy a grilled dinner Bedouin style. After an Amman city Tour, we visit Jerash with the astonishing record of having over 6,500 years of continuos human occupation. We continue north to cross the Sheik Hussein Bridge and into Israel. Overnight Nof Ginosar on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. (B-D)

Early start today we explore this historical region of Galilee. Remember how Jesus walked on the water? Our special traditional sailing vessel will take us across the Sea of Galilee, stopping in the middle for a time of reflection and singing. Rejoice! Jesus is alive. We disembark at Nof Ginosar, a kibbutz located on the shores of the Kinneret where we will see the remains of a boat from the time of Jesus. Arriving later to CAPERNAUM, the city of Jesus, we visit the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus performed many miracles. You will see the excavations of ST PETER'S house and visit TABGHA, where Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fishes to feed the multitudes. Later ascending to the top of the MOUNT OF BEATITUDES, we will read the Sermon on the Mount. In the afternoon we will visit Nazareth, where Jesus grew to manhood visiting the Church of Annunciation, which covers the boyhood home of Jesus.We spend time at Nazareth Village recreating village lifestyle during the time of Jesus experiencing the Nazareth Jesus knew! After breakfast, we travel to the Golan Heights with Mt. Hermon in the background. We will explore Tel Dan and visit Banias know as CAESAREA PHILIPPI, where Peter confessed his faith in Jesus. Travelling through the Valley of Tears to Mt. Bental. We plan to have lunch at Kfar Bloom. Overnight Sea of Galilee. (B-D)

We journey south this morning for a coastal tour of the MEDITERRANEAN SEA PORTS. En route, we will visit Haifa and its spectacular view over the harbour from the Baha’i Temple. We continue to Muhraka at MT CARMEL, where Elijah called down fire from Heaven on the prophets of Baal. We pass through the MEGGIDO VALLEY, the large plain where the final battle of Armageddon is prophesied to take place, visiting a chariot city of Solomon and Ahab. Next stop is CEASAREA, site of Herod's Palace, home of Cornelius and where Paul was brought to trial. Overnight Jerusalem. (B-D)

We pass by the Israeli Knesset, visit the YAD VASHEM HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL, a memorial built in honour of the six million Jewish lives taken in the Holocaust, view a model of the ancient city of Jerusalem in the time of Christ, including the Jewish Temple and finish our day with a visit to the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Awakening in the city of the Great King. You can feel the atmosphere that sets Jerusalem apart from any other city in the world. We have a full day of touring Old Jerusalem, following in the footsteps of Jesus, including the CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION, MT OF OLIVES and the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE. Entering into the OLD CITY through ST STEPHEN'S GATE we visit the POOL OF BETHESDA, where Jesus cured an invalid, and continue to the Ecce Homo Convent to view the Lithostratos, the Pavement and to visit the PRAETORIUM, site of the public trial and condemnation of Jesus. We continue through the picturesque Bazaar streets passing the Stations of the Cross along the VIA DOLOROSA arriving to Christchurch where we learn about the oldest Protestant Church in the Middle East. We travel through to the Judean Wilderness to make a short stop at Qumran the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and pass by Ein Gedi, the area where King Saul pursued David. We ascend to the mighty fortress of MASADA, the site of the last heroic stand of 960 Jewish defenders against the Roman Empire. From its heights (by cable car) we have tremendous views of Jordan and the Dead Sea. Afterwards, we take time to ‘float’ in the medicinal salt waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest elevation in the world. Continuing to Beer Sheva, Abrahams Well and the Australia Memorial in honour of the Light Horse victory at Beer Sheva. Late return to Jerusalem for overnight. (B-D)

Today we visit the CARDO, the heart of Jerusalem. We will journey back in time visiting the Burnt House, remains from the Second Temple period and the Temple Institute to view authentic replicas of Jewish Temple worship implements. Holy time to pray at the WESTERN WALL, the most sacred site for the Jewish people and later we ascend the TEMPLE MOUNT to the Dome of the Rock, (security permitting) the site where Abraham offered up Isaac. We visit the Hulda Steps believed to be the very steps taken by Jesus up to the Temple Mount. Overnight Jerusalem. (B-D)

This morning we visit the GARDEN TOMB and celebrate a Communion Service with the empty tomb in the background. The serenity of this place makes it a spiritual oasis within this bustling city. This is the ultimate place of worship in Jerusalem. We celebrate the resurrection of our King. From there we learn of the modern history of Jerusalem including strategic locations for the 1948 and 1967 wars and the current struggle to secure the land of Israel. Remainder of the day is free in the City of the Great King. Opportunity to relax at your hotel or for that last minute shopping. Farewell dinner at the hotel before transferring to the airport for our flight home. (B-D)
